Arlene Rockefeller was until recently the Global CIO Equities at State Street Global Advisors and responsible for $800 billion of global equity assets. She has 35 years of experience in passive and quantitative active equity fund management.

Ms Rockefeller was with SSGA since the beginning and all the way from an entrepreneurial start-up to the current $1.9 trillion behemoth. And then, she joined TruColor, a hedge fund start up.

Arlene Rockefeller was the Global Equities Chief Investment Officer for State Street Global Advisors, where she oversaw the management of more than $800 billion in assets under management. During her 28-year tenure at State Street, Rockefeller was instrumental in spurring the firm’s growth from an entrepreneurial startup to a $2 trillion global investor. Throughout her career, Rockefeller has overseen the management of long only and long/short equity products, covering both developed and emerging markets. Rockefeller has a BS in Statistics and an MA in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Boston University.
