Lou Moelchert established Private Advisors, LLC in 1997. He serves on the investment committees of each of the firm's funds and is responsible for overseeing all investment products. Beginning in 1975, he managed the endowment for the University of Richmond for over 30 years and began investing in alternatives in the early 1980's. He also served as a committee member of the Virginia Retirement System from 1996 to 2000 and Chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee from 1998 to 2000. He was also Chairman of the Commonfund Board of Trustees from 1993 to 1997 and served as a trustee from 1986 to 1998. Mr. Moelchert received his B.B.A. and M.S., Accountancy from the University of Georgia.
